A sentence so often heard and said; and more than that so often misused. It is far away than its real sense.

Dependency is when we start to expect emotional approval and happiness by a certainty that we are being cared by another person.

Love isn’t dependency. Love is not parasitism. Love is when two people, perfectly able to live independently of each other, decide to live together. That’s interdependency. Thats strengthening each other’s strenghts and covering each other’s weaknesses.

Of course it has been proven time and again that we can live without almost any one.
Love is free exercise of will.
